A Christ-Centered Home is Full of Joy and Grace

Families that are Christ-focused are full of joy and peace. Their homes are marked by grace. They bear each other’s burdens, cover each other’s sins in love, and are a safe-haven from the world.

Is your home like this? I know mine isn’t always. To be honest, it’s usually because of my own attitude. The Lord, however, is faithful and compassionate. His mercy and lovingkindness are abundant and can wash over our hearts, our families, and our homes with peace and joy that we cannot simply muster.

Kindness, love, laughter, and nurturing relationships. These are the glue that bind your family together. Godly marriage, discipleship, servanthood, a home covered in scripture and prayer. These are all wrapped up in the love of Christ.

There is great responsibility in being a part of the family God has blessed us with and raising up those little souls for Christ. There is also great joy.

Let us delight in our spouses, in our children, and in the life God has called us to. May we rely upon Him and not ourselves, giving Him all the glory whatever the outcome. That is a Christ-centered home.

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ~ Lamentations 3:22-23
