“Jesus Loves Me” Hymn Unit (Free Printables!)

“Jesus Loves Me” Hymn Study

This is a scripture study for the hymn Jesus Loves Me. The kids learn more of the song and discuss the meaning behind the verses.

The lesson includes studying where in the scriptures is says Jesus loves us, introductory devotions, a printable of the song for framing and one with visual symbols to help aide memorization, and links additional resources. You can also download the Jesus Loves Me Scripture Poster, which lists verses showing where in the Bible it says that Jesus loves us.

There are particularly good links out to other resources. One is a video showing sign language for all the verses. Another great resource is a hymn study from Contented at Home with copywork, notebooking pages, and an author study.

    Tauna,
I have been downloading all of your Sound Words lessons. I read part of the Attributes of God today to my children, with my husband present, and we all loved the lesson! Thank you for putting your time and effort in to helping us teach our children these important lessons.

Thank you so much!! This is our favorite children’s hymn, and we’ve sung it to our little Serenity every day since she was born 18 months ago. I am feeling strongly that I need to start really working with her to memorize songs and verses, now that she is starting to understand concepts, and use words. I’m so happy to be able to use your lovely study!
