Day 14 of the Matthew Bible Lego Challenge! This is such a fun story for kids and is great for Easter time too. Actually, we had done this exact challenge during our Easter Lego Challenge this past year, so we decided to move on to the next day. We did read the story first though! My kids love to act out this scene whenever we read it, marching around waving their “palm trees” and shouting “Hosanna!”

If you haven’t downloaded the printable yet, you want to do that right away! You can do the challenge on your own (there are 34 days total with copywork and notebooking pages) or you can use it to follow along with us here and share your creations with us on the Proverbial Homemaker Facebook pageTwitter, and Instagram!

For the 14th day of the challenge, we read all of Matthew 21 and Jesus entering into Jerusalem on a donkey. The build challenge is re-create the scene.

The copywork for the challenge is Matthew 21:9 – “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” The printable includes a drawing and writing page for those who would rather draw the scene.
