More Fun Winter Games Activities

  • Go out in the snow (or travel to find some) and make your own winter games competition with fun made-up races, tests of skill, and prizes!
  • Play floor hockey on the hard wood floors in your house with hand-made or purchased toy equipment
  • Watch the opening ceremonies together and then make your own opening ceremonies to match.
  • Play minute-to-win-it games, olympic style. Such as olympic ring toss, ball toss, discus throw (using cup lids), etc.
  • Make an indoor obstacle course and take turns running the course and building it. 
  • Put together a fun meal or snack platter featuring foods from the hosting country.

    Some of the links that you labeled as being “free” really aren’t free. For example, South Korea Unit Study for Elementary Students from In All You Do (Free) is 99 cents.
