The Pilgrim’s Mayflower Compact Printable
Most homeschool children are well acquainted with the basics of the Pilgrim story. But one event that’s worth taking a closer look at during this Thanksgiving holiday is the signing of the Mayflower Compact!
This year, I’m joining with some Christian homeschool organizations across the Western United States to host a live webinar all about the Pilgrims’ Mayflower Compact. The webinar will include a live lesson with a focus on biblical principles and God’s providence. We’ll even do a fun craft together!
What You’ll Find Inside
This 80+ page printable includes lessons and activities for ALL ages:
- “Family Compact” page to use with the live webinar craft, if you wish.
- The full Mayflower Compact (original text with plain-language notes)
- Scripture study & copywork (KJV and ESV)
- Notebooking pages for reflection and application
- Meaningful quotes and biblical principles
- Word studies on “providence” and “covenant”
- Coloring pages, puzzles, and map activities for younger learners
- Essay and research prompts for older students
- Bibliography (A great list for further reading!)
Your family can walk through this study together to see how God’s hand guided the Pilgrims and how those same biblical principles apply today.
Hands-On Family Craft: Our Family Compact
During the live webinar, we’ll make this meaningful craft together! Each family will trace and cut out handprints, decorate them, and string them together, along with a “Family Compact” pledge they will sign. This can be on display in your home as your family’s promise to follow God’s Word!
You’ll need:
- Paper (white or colored)
- Yarn or string
- Hole punch or sharp pencil to punch holes
- Scissors
- Crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color with
- The printable Family Compact page from this pack (or you can write your own on a piece of paper)
Download the Free Mayflower Compact Printable (Only Available Through Thanksgiving 2025!)
This printable is free for those attending the live webinar. Make sure you download it now, because it will be removed after Thanksgiving! Note that you will be signed up for Proverbial Homemaker emails, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
❤️ Happy Thanksgiving, Homeschool Families!
I’m so grateful you’re joining us for this special Thanksgiving lesson. May it bless your homeschool and help build your family’s faith.
