Luke 1:46-45, often called the Magnificat (from the latin for “magnifies”), is Mary’s song of praise in response to the powerful confirmation of God’s purpose and plan for her and the child that she carried. Mary’s soul could not help but to magnify the Lord. What Mary knew was important. This song is so rich and there is so much we can learn. For now, let’s focus on a few gems about Mary.
What Mary knew about herself and about God determined the kind of life she lived for Him. The same should be true for us.

Yes! This is it exactly, she was obedient to serve Him no matter what. So often we think we need all these talents and treasures to be able to serve God when all He is really looking for is someone with an obedient heart.
