God-Led Change Produces Maturity

In my Bible study class today, the speaker said something that really stood out to me: 

“A God-led change produces maturity.”


This is so true. 

It may be changes that He leads in a quiet way in our hearts, or ones that come from outside. Is it a change in family dynamics, location, habits, activities?

Is God leading you to a change? Are you in the midst of a change He initiated? 

Rest in His faithfulness. Be open to His teaching. Eagerly seek the wisdom and maturity He is lovingly weaving into your life.

And another truth:

“Staying in His will and relying on His wisdom hastens maturity.”


Let us be pliable in His hands as He shaped us into the image of Christ. Be obedient and faithful in what He has called you to do. Depend upon His Spirit and His wisdom to accomplish it. He will make your path straight!


Trust in the Lord with all your heart 
and lean not on your own understanding; 
in all your ways submit to him, 
and he will make your paths straight. 
Psalm 3:5-6
