   • Capital: Paris
   • Major Rivers: Seine, Loire, Rhône
   • Famous Landmarks: Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral
   • Located in Western Europe and with hexagonal shape, France borders eight different countries: Spain, Andorra, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

   • Known for the French Revolution (1789-1799), which led to the rise of the Republic.
   • Famous historical figures: Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte.
   • The Louvre is the world’s largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris.
3. Culture
   • Language: French
   • Famous for its art, literature, and philosophy.
   • Known for fashion, with Paris often called the “Fashion Capital of the World.”
   • Popular sports: soccer, rugby, tennis, and cycling (Tour de France).
4. Food
   • Famous dishes: Baguettes, Croissants, Cheese (like Brie and Camembert), Escargot (snails), Ratatouille, Crepes.
   • Known for fine dining and exquisite pastries.

  • Make a French flag with colored paper or paint.

  • Build and decorate a model of a French chateau using cardboard.

  • Bake simple French pastries like croissants or crepes.
  • Prepare a cheese tasting platter with different types of French cheese.
  • Make a French baguette from scratch.
  • Cook Ratatouille, a traditional French vegetable stew.

  • Play a matching game with pictures of famous French landmarks.
  • Learn basic French phrases and greetings through songs and games.
